I had a holly jolly yule, and took a day break from my 25-day painting vacation schedule to fuck around with a Reaper krampus. They have 5 different krampus models, plus a recast in new material. This is their 77710 model, which I got in the 2023 kickstarter.
The only real thing of note for technique was that I was settling into my NMM technique for the jingle bells on his belt, the brass bells on his basket, and the iron top to the cage. My NMM looks way better on small objects than large, but I’m delighted that I can do it at all and I’m increasingly pleased with what I get. I’m at the limit of my tools here, and switching to a new fancy brush is making it easier on later models.
