You can barely see it, but there’s some nipple here so I added NSFW. My tolerance for nudity in general and sexual nudity is pretty high because I went to therapy and stopped being as incredibly repressed as I was raised to be. So, I started an ongoing project I’m calling Objectification Markers. In wargaming you often need, for game mechanic reasons, a spot on the map that you need to “control” by having your units active next to it while nobody else’s are. 40K does this a lot, OPR does it, you can play lots of other games where it’s necessary. Most people use coins or dice or numbered tokens or cute terrain-like markers with features that indicate which marker they are. These are almost always called “objective markers.” Last fall I thought to myself “but why not objectified markers” and the idea of two grimdark armies of the future battling to the death with plasma bolters and knives in order to gain control of a caked up femboy made me laugh so hard I decided to commit to the bit.

Step one; select, purchase, download, and print a range of the most unhinged Horny On Main sculpts I could find. Twin Goddess and Jigglystix appear frequently in my list, and Artisan Guild has a pinup line I like a lot. Step two; start painting. Now, I’ve got orcs and goblins and dragons and mushrooms and such, which I will be painting in non-skin colours, but I also picked out these four I wanted to do in human skin tones. Each of them will have their own post in the future.
I’ve mixed my own base skin/flesh with a 20:2:1 mix of Daler Rowney arcylic inks PW6, PY3, and PV19 (white, yellow, magenta). The white, frankly, was more of “one full squirt” than 20 by time I got to the end of the mixing. This goes into the airbrush with combinations of burnt umber ink and more PY3 or PV19 to change the balance somewhat. For these base layers the swordsman had a 1:1 of flesh and burnt umber, which got me a northern India look (I hope). The eldritch vessel was pure base flesh, and I hadn’t yet learned how to get ink into crevices so her crotch never really got based the way I wanted. I’ve since figured out how to get paint in those areas. The beach bum I tried for mesoamerican with a 5:4:3 of base flesh, burnt umber, and PY3. The (sculpted as orc, painted as) elf with the whip I was trying to get Indigenous Canadian. I currently live on Treaty 7 territory (which involves, like, so much genocide, which I’m not pleased about), so my head canon is that she’s Siksika or Tsuut’ina. 5:3:1 base flesh, burnt umber, PV19.
