Dice Goblin by Twin Goddess Miniatures. Less obviously horny than the other Objectification Markers, but cute and the dice were fun and a nice touch in the sculpt.

I had several opportunities to do some rune OSL here, all of which I passed up. I was focused on gems, the hundred fiddly little straps, and if I did this model over again I’ve got two speedpaint bottles that would have got me through the grindy parts of this process. Kind of iffy on the cloak and gloves. I wanted cartoonish blacks with grey highlights, which I got, but I don’t know if it worked as well as I thought. I spent more than half my time fucking around with getting gem effects on two dozen 2mm faceted dice. It worked great, I got what I wanted out of that, and as a result the goblin became an accessory to the piece, which is kinda funny. She’s way less highlighted and shaded than I’m used to doing. She doesn’t look bad, her eyes are better than Campfire Goblin’s, but her skin’s kinda flat and her hair barely looks real and her face… I don’t regret it, but that’s mostly because I was being pretty strict with myself about “I don’t need to try and win a competition here, I just want a decent looking marker,” and not letting myself spend “one more hour” fixing things up once I felt done with it. The dice got most of my time, they look great, I’m happy. The goblin didn’t get as much time, but people aren’t going to be squinting at the goblin much. Pity, ’cause Twin Goddess does delightful sculpts and the goblins deserve love and attention. I’ll probably “do penance” by buying one of their Goblin Queen/goddess minis later.
